Waking up to Nature
Join us in the woods at Clue Hill Farm as the sun starts to rise on Sunday 13th May for a unique and truly sensory experience of nature.
Starting in the darkness/half-light you will be guided through the sounds of the spring dawn chorus from the woods, pond and surrounding fields as nature starts to wake up by our Wildlife Expert: Stuart ‘The Wildman’ Mabbutt. You will notice what wildlife activity has taken place the night before and what is starting to happen as the light appears.
Our Wilderness Advocate: Diana Roberts, will then open your eyes to what surrounds you here on the farm and together with Stuart will explore how to use the other senses when you are out and about in both the countryside and town. Helping you to become more aware of the nature that’s all around you.
You will also be guided through different wildlife photographic techniques by our Profession Photographer: William Mankelow.
This event allows you to totally reconnect with nature.
After working up an appetite following all of this activity, we will return to the campfire and enjoy a cooked breakfast (suitable for carnivores, vegetarians and vegans) with hot drinks and chat about what we have discovered with Stuart, Diana and William.
Price: £20.00 including breakfast etc – over 18s only
