Gift Flowers and Floristry Techniques

Gift Flowers and Floristry Techniques

With Caroline Wilson and Hazel Harman

Flower arrangements created during the floristry workshop at Clue Hill Farm, Brill, during the summer of 2014.In this workshop you’ll discover how to make your own perfectly presented floral gifts and party flowers with some tricks of the trade to boost your confidence. In the morning you’ll be creating a hand-tied bunch in a mini carrier bag with its own water supply on board!

The afternoon’s project is an exquisite summery arrangement in a vintage tea cup (with saucer). Learn about a variety of upcycled containers for compact floral gifts and really effective party, table or bedside arrangements.

The emphasis is on professional presentation and our signature natural-themed look. Using our woodland setting to inspire you, we show you how to incorporate your own gathered material and garden flowers to make good-value projects.

Price: £85.00 includes all materials (unless otherwise specified) our fabulous Creative Green lunch, drinks, homemade cakes and biscuits (the eggs are kindly contributed by the resident hens at Clue Hill Farm and honey from our bees).

Numbers are generally limited to a maximum of 14 – this ensures that everyone is able to spend sufficient one-to-one time with the tutors.  Our meals are locally sourced and organic wherever possible.  We cook all the food on open fires with the logs harvested from our woods.
