Geraldine Jarrell – Indian Head Massage and Reflexology Tutor with Creative Green
Geraldine has been devoted to complementary therapies for almost 20 years. In the mid‐1990s she trained as a reflexologist and later took over the Oxford School of Reflexology, turning it into a leading Training Centre for a range of therapies. Geraldine’s ethos, brought to life through The OSR, was to follow the latest developments in complementary therapies and their mainstream acceptance, without losing sight of the effect of deep relaxation and how this brings the body’s own healing mechanisms into play.
Soon Geraldine became involved in reflexology governing bodies, trying to maintain the highest possible standards whilst regulation of the industry gradually took hold. She has served as Chairman of the Association of Reflexologists, the largest reflexology membership organisation in the world, and continued to chair the Reflexology in Europe Network (RiEN), an international body sharing the same aims.
Throughout all her high‐profile involvement in promoting complementary therapies, Geraldine has continued her passion for personal practice and hands‐on teaching to the highest possible standard.
After training in Indian Head Massage in the late 1990s, and a period of practice, Geraldine has built up over a decade of experience in teaching this safe and enjoyable technique to a huge range of people from all walks of life, therapists and amateurs alike.
